The export amount of mushroom reached 165 million USD in Ningde City, China

As learned from the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Ningde City, Fujiang Province, in 2016, 9337 tons of mushroom valuing 165 million USD were exported from the National Mushroom Quality and Safety Demonstration Area of Gutian County, Ningde City, Fujiang Province.
It is understood that Gutian County, Ningde City, Fujian Province is the main mushroom production area in China, the production capacity in the county sits in national first place. Besides, the county holds various mushroom varieties which are in superior quality and well favored in international markets. Furthermore, Gutian County owns the reputation of “The capital of Chinese mushrooms”, for a long period, the export varieties of the city include Shiitake, White fungus, Black fungus, mushroom strains (Bamboo fungus, Monkey head mushroom) which are mainly exported to Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, European Union, USA, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries and places.
