Large-scale morel cultivation successfully came through in Tibetan Plateau

Morel is a kind of rare mushroom which holds abundant nutrition, tender flavor and the efficacy of body building and disease prevention. Morels used to grow in mountains and forests, which manifested poor output and hard collection, and the market price reached up to 2000-3000 CNY per kg.

In recent years, artificial cultivation of morel has been promoted in most parts of China while it remains vacant in Tibetan Plateau. Last year, after sending people to Sichuan Mianyang Mushroom Institute for technical training, Qinghai Zhuochen Agricultural Technology Development Co., LTD introduced strain and technology, invited famous morel experts, Mr. Zhu, for on-site guidance. After going through 5 months’ of management, two days ago, staffs began to pick the first batch of fresh morel and with the emerging tiny mushrooms, the anticipated mu output could be 150 kg.
