The annual mushroom production value reached 22.8 million CNY in Hui County

Through years of vigorous support and promotion from nation, the mushroom industry in Hui County has been taking shape. Up to now, mushroom cultivation that features Shiitake and Black fungus has covered local 15 villages and towns, the production scale reached 1.6 million bags, the annual production capacity totaled 1.2 million CNY while the production value added up to 22.8 million CNY.
In recent years, Hui County has been seizing at the opportunity of targeted poverty alleviation, through several ways such as policy support measures, industrial technology content promotion and industry scale enlargement, the mushroom industry in the whole county has been effectively promoted. Besides, in order to lift the cultivation technology for farmers, technicians from Hui Science and Technology Development actively carry out the training course of mushroom cultivation, introduce high-end and rare varieties. Till now, 8 demonstration bases and 1 city-level mushroom research center have been successively established and 3 new varieties have been introduced. Meanwhile, Hui County also positively guides local enterprises to develop Green Food Certification and Trademark Registration Work, and has successively registered 8 brands.
