Fresh Morels are constantly exploiting international markets

Since February, the customs of Kunming Airport has guaranteed 5.7 tons of fresh morels which were mainly exported to Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands, Swiss and other EU countries and American markets.

As everyone knows, Morels are top of wild mushroom varieties and are well favored by European and American markets. Yunnan Province is one of the main morel production areas in China, the province holds the annual morel production of nearly 150 tons accounting for 20% of national production. From the beginning of 2016, fresh morels initially realized the exportation to oversea markets and they were successively exported to Germany, France, Swiss and other EU countries. This year, the fresh morels in Yunnan Province are expected to further broaden international markets and boost export volume.
