The mushrooms sell well on markets of Spring Festival

During Spring Festival, Button mushroom and other varieties became the leading actors in Yongchuan District, Chongqing City.
“During Spring Festival, the fruiting amount of our company reached 5000 kg or so and the market price was at 3.5-4 CNY per kg, which not only brought about many benefits, but also filled the blank of the absence of indigenous mushrooms and met the demand of citizens,” said Mr. Xin, the production manager of Chongqing Ruifunong Mushroom Cultivation Co., LTD.
At present, Yongchuan District holds 162 mushroom production enterprises, cooperatives, family farms and large farms. Besides, 13 standardized production enterprises have been successively built and the scale of industrialized production bases comes to nearly 1000 mu, of which temperature-control plants account for nearly 150 mu and refrigeration warehouses take 12,000 square meters. Local mushroom industry has experienced leapfrog development starting from scratch, expanding from a small to a large force, which enables indigenous mushroom varieties to grasp on market initiative while scattering benefits for the masses.
