The mushroom cultivation in greenhouse brings about a bright prospect for poor households

“A common greenhouse could produce 6000 bags of Shiitake while a solid one could produce 12,000 bags, one bag could also fruit 1.25kg of mushroom,” said one of mushroom farmers in anti-season Shiitake greenhouse, adding that by the calculation of 2.5 CNY per kg, the net annual incomes of each greenhouse could be 30,000 CNY.
It is understood that in recent years, Henan Xinlong Ecological Agriculture Development Co., LTD has been fiercely grasping on mushroom cultivation and leading poor households to end poverty and grow rich. According to introduction, one of the mushroom bases could produce 1 million sticks annually and sell 2 million kg of fresh mushrooms which bring about the production value of 10 million CNY. So far, 3 administrative villages covering more than 200 masses have been effectively leaded to throw off poverty.
