50 million kg of mushrooms were produced through agricultural wastes in a year

In recent years, Yangcheng County, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province has been closely integrating targeted poverty alleviation with rural industrial structure adjustment, the promotion of clean energy and the development of circular economy, guiding and supporting farmers to utilize agricultural wastes to cultivate Enoki mushroom, King oyster mushroom, Shiitake and other mushrooms.
Yangcheng County strives to achieve precise project and technology, in 2016, 50 million kg of mushrooms were produced through agricultural wastes, local farmers also firmly generated the revenues of 120 million CNY. In this way, more and more farmers are being leaded to shake off poverty and grow rich.
