Internet boosts the development of Shiitake industry in Henan Province, China

By report, Xixia County, Henan Province is the world-famous “The home of Shiitake”. At present, the county holds 15 Shiitake villages and towns, 110 specialized Shiitake villages and 173 standardized cultivation bases, the annual production on fresh Shiitake comes to 200,000 tons.
With the increasingly deepening of Internet Strategy, Xixia County came up with the development path which focuses on dragging and promoting the next round of county economy through ecological and characteristic agricultural industry. Till now, 40 million CNY has been invested on a E-commerce Industry Incubation Park which occupies 15,000 square meters, embraces on characteristic, superior and famous local products to develop all-round services, and boosts enterprises to develop online sales. Till now, Suning E-commerce and other 70 enterprises have been settled in the garden.
Internet has evidently expanded the sales for local Shiitakes and accelerated the development step of local Shiitake industry. Meanwhile, it has also facilitated farmers to generate revenues and grow prosperous.
