What to do when you find white hairs grow on Oyster mushrooms?

2016-12-20 15:37:49

During the cultivation phase of Oyster mushroom, you may find that spawns lead robust growth trend, the sporocarps are hard to form and mushrooms are tardy in fruiting or refuse to fruit. But how to control the phenomenon?
Control methods:
1. Adjust the temperature: For High-temperature Oyster mushrooms, you could control the daytime temperature to 25 degrees or so, for Low-temperature type, you could control in about 10 degrees. Within moderate temperature range, try to increase the temperature difference between day and night so as to stimulate the growth of spawns.
2. Control the humidity: Try to control the relative air humidity to a range of 85%-95%, mushroom sporocarps show tardy growth trend in low temperature while they are easy to turn colors and rotten status in high humidity.
3. Enhance the ventilation: Oyster mushrooms are hard to fruit under the condition of oxygen-want or produce misshapen forms, hence enhancing the ventilation and avoiding direct wind to mushroom bodies.
