Aspergillus mainly includes Aspergillus Niger, Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus glaucus, which harm mushrooms and composts. After getting contaminated by Aspergillus, the particulates that present loose, yellow, sage green and black could be directly observed. The prevention methods are as follows:
1. Keep good hygienic environment: Keep clean of cultivation rooms and the surrounding areas. In addition, inoculation room and mushroom house should be cleaned and sterilized according to specific regulations. More importantly, operators should firstly go through strict sterilization before inoculating.
2. Check at a regular basis: Once you find any contaminated strain, eliminate it without hesitation.
3. Moderately lift the PH Value of compost: When you mix materials, combine with 1%-3% of quick lime or spray 2% of lime water so as to inhibit the spread of sundry fungi. Once finding Aspergillus, be sure to ventilate, dry in time and control the room temperature to a range of 20-22 degrees.
