Interplant mushrooms under rubber tree and acquire double benefits in one land

A few days ago, the mushroom demonstration base of Tafeng Village, Hainan Province was formally put into production, by the end of December, the first batch of shiitakes will be listed on markets. According to know, the 70,000 fungus sacks could produce 50,000 kg of fresh Shiitakes, to calculate by the base price of 2.5 CNY per kg, the incomes could be 500,000 CNY or so.
It is understood that the base runs in the mode of “Company+Base” and moves to help farmers generate incomes. Mushroom farmers take local saw dusts and straws as leftovers so as to cut the cost in half, it is revealed that one fungus sack only costs 4 CNY or so. In Tafeng Village, the land of rubber forest goes with shading materials, which creates the growth environment that suits mushroom cultivation.
According to one calculation by one farmer: To interplant mushrooms in forest, 2000-3000 CNY of costs could be saved in each mu of land, meanwhile, to conservatively estimate in accordance with the growth situation of mushrooms, 10,000 bags of fungus sacks could be cultivated in one mu of land, 0.75kg of mushroom could be harvested from each fungus sack and the extra incomes in each mu of land could be at least 25,000 CNY. In addition, usual management and a lot of labor is also needed on the preparation work of marketing.
