Poor households are thrived through Ganoderma Industry

According to know, in recent years, one specialized medicinal mushroom cooperative in Xifeng County, Liaoning Province has been developing Ganoderma cultivation in an efforts to promote local masses to generate incomes. At present, 58 poor people that finished establishing card for archives have been guided to end poverty and grow prosperous, by the end of 2017, 61 households totaling 174 poor people are expected to shake off poverty through Ganoderma Industry.
It is understood that in the meantime of developing and strengthening themselves, the cooperative also positively customizes a series of projects for members on ending poverty, increasing revenues and acquiring wealth, providing vigorous support in aspects of fund, technology, production means and marketing channels.
In 2016, the cooperative newly started the project of Black fungus cultivation occupying the total area of 1.3 hectares, it is anticipated that by the end of 2016, 160 farmers could be offered employment and each farmer is expected to get an average per capita income of 7000 CNY.
