It is understood that this year, as the winter vegetable-basket of Fendou Town, Inner Mongolia, it newly transformed 15 sunlight greenhouses to develop characteristic mushroom industry, 450,000kg of Oyster mushrooms that were produced by the town have occupied 80% of local mushroom markets.
In addition to Oyster, the town has also introduced 7 new varieties, mainly develops the cultivation of Button mushroom and Shiitake, fills in the gap of Shiitake Production in high and cold area.
According to know, the town takes straw and other agricultural wastes as the raw materials for the production of fungi sack, after the inoculation, farmers continue to cultivate and transform them into high-nutritional mushrooms, the waste materials that are produced after the cultivation then be taken as the organic fertilizers for soil improvement, which jointly formed the sustainable ecological and circulatory agriculture.
Besides, a large number of surplus labor force have been absorbed, which not only facilitated increasing revenues for farmers, but also leaded the development of mushroom process, packaging, export trade and other industries.
