Continuously cultivate four kinds of mushroom to end poverty

It is reported that the base of “Continuously cultivate four kinds of mushroom” is the major project of poverty alleviation program in Wandian Village, Henan Province, China. The base sets R&D, cultivation, production and marketing of mushroom into one, mainly cultivates Straw mushroom, Button mushroom, Oyster mushroom and Drumstick mushroom, the annual production capacity of all kinds of mushroom reaches 2.5 million kg and the total production value reaches 30 million CNY. Local village also guided poor households to buy shares on mushroom cooperative by 4000 CNY per household and guaranteed an annual profit of 800 CNY. In line with the aim of common prosperity, the base of “Continuously cultivate four kinds of mushroom” relies on industrial and resource advantages, in allusion to the phenomenon of “Possess labor force but lack of fund, technology and way to get rich” and promote the cultivation technology of mushroom, thus helping local poor households to quickly and efficiently end poverty and become rich.
