Mushroom industry effectively mobilized poor households to increase income

It is reported in the first half of this year Tangyuan county, Jiamusi city, Heilongjiang province achieved gross regional production of 2298.2 million Yuan, 8.0% increase from last year. Local key poverty-alleviation industry--edible mushroom has effectively mobilized poor households to increase income. It was mainly relied on two leading enterprises of edible mushroom, Liangzi Benteng and Bobabu, arranged subsidy fund of 14.98 million Yuan, sufficiently mobilized enthusiasm of poor households to develop edible mushroom cult
In the first half of this year in Tangyuan county four production bases of edible mushrooms were newly built, among them three bases have over 100 greenhouses each. In the county there are 1130 greenhouses of edible mushrooms hanging-bag, it is predicted that Black fungus annual production could reach 100 million bags, mobilize farmers to increase income of 170 million Yuan, increased income per capita of farmers in the county is 1092 Yuan.
