Poria cocos is a kind of rare medicinal fungus that can be taken as the adjuvant in invigorating spleen and lung and curing qi deficiency. In recent years, Rufu Village, Yunnan Province, China has been kept a foothold on ecological resources, accelerated the transformation and upgrading of forestry, developed the cultivation of Poria cocos industry and achieved significant result. At present, the village possesses 1116 farmer households and the total cultivation area of 8210 acres. Poria cocos industry, which presents low cost and high yield, has become the fungus for farmers to end poverty.
