Mushroom drives farmers to become well-off

It is reported that since 2014, relevant leaders from Henan Province, China have successively invested the funds of 50 million CNY and established Henan Changsheng Mushroom Co., Ltd. and Changsheng Agricultural Professional Cooperative. What’s more, 100 standardized greenhouses of Shiitake have been built, which cover a total area of 350 acres and have the annual production scale of 3 million bags. The cooperative also provided more than 800 posts, increased more than 10 million CNY of service revenue. At the same time, it also leaded about 1000 households from surrounding villages to develop the cultivation of Shiitake and each household can get an average income of more than 4000 CNY.
This June, local Poverty Relief Office collaborated with local villages and carried out the project of “promote the collaboration of village and enterprise and conduct industrial poverty alleviation” and assisted in fixed point  escrow on the situation of lack of facilities and technology. The company adopted the method of trusteeship, invested poverty alleviation fund to escrow sticks and fruiting for 45 poor households and give returns back to them. It is revealed that each household have risen an income of more than 3200 CNY.
The company indicated that the next step is to continues to play a leading role in mushroom industry, focus on poverty alleviation project, expand the role of poverty alleviation to other rural towns and administrative villages and help to lead more poor households to engage in mushroom industry and realize casting off poverty and becoming better-off.
