The poor mountain area is developing the cultivation of Shiitake to create a better future

It is understood that in the winter of 2015, a specialized cooperatives was established by a poor village in Yangchao Village, Guizhou Province, China. Under the concerted efforts of the village secretary and villager officer, a specialized cooperative in Yangchao Village, Guizhou Province reached a cooperation agreement with Lvye Youzhi Company. The company invested 300,000 CNY to develop the cultivation of Shiitake with the capacity of 15 acres and 120,000 mushroom sticks.
Under the fine cares of all members in the cooperative, the cultivation of Shiitake needs a series of process such as building greenhouse, making mushroom stick, inoculating spawns and burying and filling mushroom sticks, the beginning of July was the fruiting period, Shiitakes enjoyed desirable growth trends during this period and the economic benefit was very considerable.
It is introduced that the anticipated yield is 300,000 kg of Shiitake on the basis of present management technology and trend of growing, Shiitakes will be sold to Hunan Province and other places, the price of per kg is about 9.6 CNY, the yield value can be 2.1 million CNY. According to 60% proportion of share, the cooperative can earn an income of 1.26 million CNY, moreover, 75,600 CNY can be earned by the total village and more than 40 employment can be taken up.
