In recent years Guangzong county in Hebei has vigorously promoted “matching technology of industrialized edible mushroom cultivation with cotton stalks”, leaded farmers to develop featured edible mushroom cultivation industry. At present the county has cultivation area of over 500 mu of edible mushrooms, annual production of fresh edible mushrooms such as Ganoderma, White fungus, Oyster mushroom and Shiitake are nearly 3000 tons, is driving over 2000 peasant households in the county and periphery to get rich and raise income.
