At present, in the cultivation base of Shiitake, villagers are busying picking Shiitakes in Jiming Village, Yunyang County, China. According to information, now is the peak season of fruiting, the base produces more than 2000 kg of Shiitakes per day and more than 80 people are need per day, many local villagers get jobs in the base and they can earn more than 100 CNY per day. To take a view of workers, an at least 5000 CNY of average annual income can be earned by hundreds of villagers. What’s more, Shiitakes that are produced by the base possess good benefits, effectively enriched the “food basket” of local consumers and dominated around half of local markets in Yunyang County.
