Guangxi: New edible mushroom varieties “Clitocybe maxima” trial is successful in Shanglin County

At present, Guangxi Shanglin Mingshan mushroom Co., Ltd introduced and tested new edible mushroom varieties “Clitocybe maxima” which is successful.
It is said that Clitocybe maxima is a rare edible mushroom which was newly developed in recent years, it tastes good and has abundant nutrient. This variety entities is bigger, cap 4-25 cm in diameter, single flower weighs 300-500 grams, production of more than 40 kg per square meter. It has higher output than conventional varieties and suitable for summer cultivation in high temperature. The Clitocybe maxima has filled the off-season market vacancy of edible mushroom production. It faces a shortage of supply and is sold for 24 Yuan per kilogram, and the market at present has broad development prospects.
