According to statistics from January to June 2016 edible mushrooms exported by Zhangzhou of Fujian province and qualified by inspection and quarantine reached 109.8 thousand tons. All exported mushrooms were not notified by abroad authority for quality safety problem, product percent of pass reached 100%.
The reporter learned from Edible Mushroom Association of Zhangzhou city that export varieties of edible mushrooms in Zhangzhou were rich and over a dozen including Shiitake, Phytin, Black fungus of white back, King oyster mushroom and Oyster mushroom. Their export markets covered over 100 countries and regions such as Japan, EU, ASEAN, Canada, US and China Hongkong.
