Recently, the new variety of “White Jade Fungus” that is cultivated in Dongning City, Heilongjiang Province attracted many purchaser’s sights. According to information, main features of “White Jade Fungus” are off-white color and the backface of “White Jade Fungus” has the feeling of villi. Because traditional Black fungus is transferred into “White” visually and sensuously, so it is called “White Jade Fungus”. At present, “White Jade Fungus” is in the phase of trial cultivation. In Dongning City, 11,000 bags are being cultivated in two greenhouses and the selling price of dried “White Jade Fungus” has reached to 300 CNY per kg.
