Wild mushrooms are continuously coming into market, which are in less amount and high price

At present, wild mushrooms from various places of Yunnan Province are continuously coming into market, in Kunming market, various wild mushrooms such as Boletus, Collybia albuminosa, Thelephora ganbajun, Chanterelle and Russula virescens are launched and on sale, due to the small amount of Collybia albuminosa and Thelephora ganbajun, as the old saying goes: “A thing is valued if it is rare”. The highest price of Thelephora ganbajun is 1800 CNY per kg. According to relevant person from Yunnan Wild Mushroom Protection and Development Association, affected by rainfall, this year, the output of wild mushroom is higher than last year.
At present, main wild mushrooms are from Puer, Chuxiong and Yuxi. The mushroom yield of Kunming Area is increasing. The volume of business in Yunnan Mushuihua Wild Mushroom Trading Center is climbing and recently is steadily in about 50 tons. According to introduction, seen from previous year’s situations, the extensive marketing time of wild mushrooms is from July, tenth to the middle of August, it is anticipated that price will reduce after that.
