Shaowu Lunong Mushroom Company leads poor households to overcome poverty and grow rich

This website information(reporter Liu Hongli), in recent days member of standing committee of Shaowu municipal party committee of Fujian province, Gong Jianchun and a group traveling together with him went to Shaowu Lunong Edible Mushroom Co., Ltd to investigate and survey industry poverty-relief work.
Company director Zheng Pengwu made detailed introduction about the company. The company is the leading enterprise of edible mushroom industrialized production in Shaowu city, which mainly engages in White fungus, Bamboo fungus, Shiitake and black fungus. The company has established over 3000 mu of edible mushroom production base in Shuibei and Yanshan villages and towns,mobilized over 1000 households of mushroom farmers to grow various mushrooms 12 thousand mu, and output value is nearly 300 million Yuan. Lunong company has always been preferentially driving poor households to overcome poverty and grow rich by growing edible mushroom for more than a decade. Through one package service of production-supply-marketing the company has conducted technology training free of charge for poor households and provided dropping-in acquisition, until now it has driven over 40 poor households to overcome poverty. Gong Jianchun affirmed for the company’s efforts in leading farmers, with priority on poor households, to overcome poverty and proposed his hope for further development of the company.    
Gong Jianchun proposed that the government not only should consider fiscal levy, but also should consider farmers’ growing rich project. If agriculture enterprises went big, industry chain matured, tax would follow to come, at the same time it could mobilize more farmers to overcome poverty and grow rich, and build local brand with characteristics. Promoting the pattern of “government service+company+base+poor households” puts industry poverty-relief fall into place.
