Cultivate mushroom in discarded bomb shelter, poor farmers remove hats of “Poverty”

By report, Dasha Village, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province is a typical valley poor village. In order to help the masses to shake off poverty, local village committee invited relevant experts to conduct technical transformation in discarded bomb shelter of local village. After the successful trial cultivation of mushroom, the village began to take mushroom as the leading industry, guided the masses to cultivate and develop mushroom, introduced suitable varieties, strived for more than 600,000 CNY from all levels of poverty alleviation funds, built more than 30 acres of mushroom base and cultivated more than 10 tons of Coprinus comatus, Shimeji and Oyster mushroom, the anticipated annual output will be 120 tons.
Village head of Dasha Village indicated that at present, there is a great demand in mushroom market, the next step of the village is to enlarge scale, sell mushroom to large-scale markets and realize the goal of getting rich.
