Cooperative boosts the development of mushroom industry

According to information, in recent years, the further development of professional cooperative promoted agricultural industrialization process of Ningqiang County, Shanxi Province and improved comprehensive level of agricultural organization. Up to now, 190 cooperatives in the whole county have leaded 126,000 families to build 6 standard demonstration parks of mushroom, which cover a total area of hundreds acres. The industry covers 16 towns, 167 villages and 4120 families, the annual production value reaches 2.65 billion CNY. 
Taking Ningqiang Green Mushroom Cooperative as an example, the cooperative covers 8 towns and has 3 fresh-keeping houses, 2 strain factories and 2 material supplying stations. The cooperative also developed 5 million bags of Shiitake, produced 7.5 million kg of fresh mushrooms and the total production value reached 40 million CNY.
