Introduced mushroom project and broadened ways to end poverty and become rich

In recent years, Minle County, Gansu Province has  been kept a foothold on “Agriculture benefit, farmers income”, fully utilized cold climate and resource of mountain ares, greatly guided farmers along the mountain to adjust industrial structure and develop mushroom industry. In order to improve the benefit of mushroom industry, lead the masses to realize employment, the county has guided mushroom project from Shanghai Rongshan Biotechnology Co., Ltd, which covers an area of 200 acres. At present, the industrial park has finished an investment of 1.28 billion CNY, settled 3 enterprises, built 300 high standard factory fruiting houses, 200 winter-greenhouses, 1 mushroom dewatering workshop and 1 refrigerated storage with the capacity of 2000 tons. In 2016, the park will continue to invest 2.56 billion CNY to conduct project construction of Phase two.
Through building industrial park, exploring and innovating on introduction of leading enterprise, extending industrial chain and improving technological content, further enlarging the cultivation area of Button mushroom and conducting trial cultivation of Shiitake, Enoki mushroom, White fungus, Black fungus, Calocybe gambosa and Pleurotus cornucopiae. The company has gradually formed industrial support, focused on firming channels for farmers to increase income. At present, the park has solved exployment of more than 150 people and will solve exployment of 1000 people after fully completed. At the same time, the company also focus on combining the development of mushroom industry with the work of precise poverty alleviation. Most parts of the park will be loaned to poor households, which is mainly responsible for cultivating, enterprises are responsible for providing strains, technology, market and strives to broaden new ways for farmers to develop mushroom industry.
At present, 3182 mushroom greenhouses and 94 industrialized mushroom greenhouses have been built in the county, the number of farmers that are engages in mushroom industry has reached to 8000. The annual output value of the whole County reached 1.5 billion CNY, which accounts for above 10% of total value of agricultural output.
