1. The prevention of pest and disease on Pleurotus geesteranus:
A. Environmental: mushroom house and bed should be strictly sterilized ahead of time, during the cultivation, people should do a great job in keeping warm, keeping humidity and ventilating.
B. Material: the quality of compost should meet the requirement, mouldy and fermented should not be used again. People should also handle the PH Value of compost when disposing raw material.
C. Management: people should be careful in checking, observing daily management work, finding pests and disease in time and kill them in initial stage.
2. The prevention and control of sundry fungus on Pleurotus geesteranus:
A. Mould appears in the surface of compost and competes with Pleurotus geesteranus for water and nutrition, some will even secrete substance, which can hinder the growth of Pleurotus geesteranus. High temperature, high humidity and poor ventilation are main reasons for developing mould. So, people should pay attention to the ventilation, temperature, humidity in greenhouse and keep fresh air. When finding mould, lime powder can be scattered on to kill.
B. Coprinus: coprinus will happen when the quality of compost is not good, PH Value is relatively high, humidity is relatively high and ventilation is poor, so, people should reinforce prevention and remove as soon as possible.
3. The prevention and control of pests on Pleurotus geesteranus:
A. Mushroom flies: fly maggots are main source, they firstly attract stipes, then gradually transfer to mushroom cap and eat sporocarp into many holes. When finding fly maggots, people can reduce water to keep dry bed. For imago, people can trap and kill by using the mixture of aginomoto 5g, sugar 25g, DDVP 0.25 ml and water 1000 ml.
B. Acarid: acarid feast on spawn and has big damages, when finding acarid, people can use insecticides to spray immediately.
