Strives to develop mushroom industry and the annual output value reaches 4 billion CNY

In recent years, Guannan County, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province strives to develop mushroom industry. Now, the whole county possesses 60 enterprises of mushroom production, including 50 industrialized production enterprises, produces 700 tons of more than 10 kind of mushrooms such as Enoki mushroom and King oyster mushroom, all of them are sold well to the whole nation and the annual output value reaches 4 billion CNY.
According to information, local county party committee established mushroom industry as one of the three leading industries of modern agriculture in the whole county, formed the industrial pattern which takes modern agricultural demonstration area as core zone and taking surrounding townships as development zone. A few days ago, relevant leaders visited Guannan County for field study about the development situation of mushroom industry and showed high praises to the desirable development situation.
