Mushroom become the leading industry in Antu County, China

It is reported that in Antu county, Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture in Jilin Province, mushroom industry that focus on Shiitake and Black fungus has become the leading industry. According to information, in 2015, the production of mushroom in Antu County was developed into 2 hundred million bags, the output reached 9000 tons and the production value reached 4 hundred million CNY.
In recent years, Antu County determined mushroom as the industry with largest potentials to increase farmer’s income, formed variety-diversified development pattern and focused Shiitake and Oyster mushroom in some villages and towns. It is revealed that the majority of products were sold to Heilongjiang Province, China and the rest was consumed as tourism products.
