Agricultural cooperative boosts the development of mushroom industry

In recent years, the acceleration of professional cooperative organizations not only promoted the course of agriculture industrialization in Shanxi Province, Ningqiang County, China, but also stimulated enthusiasm for farmers. Till now, 190 professional cooperatives have leaded 120,000 farmers to get jobs and build 6 standard demonstration parks, which totally cover an area of 100 acre. The industry covers 16 towns, 167 villages, 4120 farmers and the annual output value reaches 2.65 hundred million CNY. What’s more, the cooperative also possesses 3 fresh-keeping storehouses, 2 strain producing factories, 2 material supply stations, produces 5 million bags of Shiitake, 7.5 million kg of fresh mushrooms annually and the total output value reaches 40 million CNY.
