Henan: entered into the peak season of producing Straw mushrooms

It is reported that with temperature rising, Henan Xiayi high temperature producing area of Straw mushroom has entered into the peak season of producing mushrooms. Recently, the general manager of the company revealed that the unified good price of fresh Straw mushroom in Xiayi County is 3.2 CNY per Jin, the marketing price is 4.5 CNY per Jin, which is 0.5 CNY higher than the same period a year earlier. There are three reasons for this phenomenon, the first reason is the production of Button mushroom is lower. The second reason is the market demand of Straw mushroom is increasing and its sales volume is very large. The third reason is Straw mushroom belongs to  thermophilic mushroom. Affected by temperature, the yield in Xiayi County is relatively low.
