1. Nutrient material: Carbon and nutrients are main elements that constitute mycelia and sporocarps, they also provide energies needed for growth and development of mushroom. Besides, substrates such as cottonseed hull and bits of wood are main sources of carbon. Nitrogen nutrient is the main material of protein and nucleic acid. It is the main element of mycelium and sporocarp as well as the material base of delicious edible fungus.
2. Moisture: Water in the substrate is the main source of water needed in cultivation. The suitable water content range is 65 and 75%. Spraying mode is needed during the cultivation while mproving relative air humidity is also the necessary measure.
3. Temperature: The preferred temperature for cultivation of Oyster mushroom, Shiitake, Enoki mushroom, Monkeyhead mushroom, Black Fungus, White Fungus and White mushroom is about 25 degrees, the ideal temperature for fruit body development is about 15 degrees.

5. Illumination: Mushroom holds no high demand for illumination, mycelia are able to grow under dark condition, but be sure to notice that excessive temperature should be prevented while straw mats can be used for overshadowing.
